The super house sits in a picturesque spot by the village green with small bridges over a pretty beck, in the heart of Osbaldwick, a conservation village approximately 2 miles east of the centre of York.

With its large south facing garden with many fruit trees and a quiet sitting out area, this makes an ideal base away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and yet within easy reach of all there is to offer. The village pub is just across the road, and the nearby 12th century church is well worth a visit. Regular buses head for York from close by, or you can walk or ride the 2 miles along the nearby cycle track created from the former railway line, or take the park and ride from Grimston Bar, just half a mile away.

There is plenty to do in York to keep all the family happy, with the York Eye being a great way to see the sights. Walks round the city walls are popular, as are the relaxing boat rides on the River Ouse. Being to the east side of York, this makes an ideal base for visiting the coast, with Scarborough, Bridlington and Whitby offering a variety of scenery and entertainment, or visit the North York Moors and explore the lovely countryside to be seen from the Steam Railway at Pickering. Castle Howard, Eden Camp and Flamingoland are all worth a full day out, or for those wanting retail therapy, the nearby Monks Cross shopping park has something for everyone. Shops and pubs 250 yards.

Ground floor: Lounge/dining room with French doors, kitchen with breakfast area & tiled floor, 1 double bedroom, separate toilet & basin. First floor: 4 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin, 2 single, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet & basin.
